We invite you to check out the recent "What the Experts Say" article written by Dr. Wacker in the February Sportball newletter!

We'd like to express a special 'thank you' to Sportball for the opportunity and for highlighting such an important topic - Mouthguards for your child when he/she starts playing sports.

We have certainly hit the ground running so far in 2016! As we mentioned last month, we updated our logo and that is just the beginning of the exciting changes happening in our office!

February is National Children’s Dental Health Month and so it’s only natural, as a pediatric dentist, for Dr. Wacker to recognize this important time.

Dr. Wacker’s treatment philosophy is centered on providing parents and patients with the education to proactively manage oral health and prevent tooth decay. To support this philosophy, Dr. Wacker has been working diligently to develop more parent and patient educational resources to make your oral health efforts at home easier. We introduced a “Healthy Snacks” card in December, and will soon be introducing a “Dental Well-Check Report Card” at each patient visit. The Report Card will not only cover all the services provided at each patient’s visit, but will include information on “what to expect” as your child grows and his / her oral health changes in between visits to our office.

We would love your feedback on these educational tools as they are introduced. We always welcome feedback on how we can improve and make each patient’s experience positive and educational.

As we welcome in the New Year, we are happy to announce the beginning of a new chapter for our practice, a chapter that truly reflects Dr. Chris Wacker and our amazing pediatric dental team. This new chapter begins with the most visible change in our practice – a new logo.

The previous logo served us well, but it’s time for a fresh image that represents the energetic environment in which we embody.

In addition to our new “look” in the New Year, we have established a Mission Statement that we practice each and every day.

Our Mission Statement is:

To provide extraordinary oral healthcare to children in a trusting and educational environment which focuses on prevention of tooth decay. To be known in the community for providing proactive, versus reactive, pediatric dental healthcare.

As we enter this new chapter, we will continue to do exactly that – provide extraordinary oral healthcare to children and focus on tooth decay prevention. Our new image and mission encompasses our vibrant practice history and truly reflects who we are today and where we intend to take our practice in the future.

As we grow, naturally, so do our patients! As such, we are always welcoming new families into our practice. The greatest compliment we can receive is the referral of a friend or family member from our existing patients. We are grateful for the supportive community of patients in which we serve, and wish you all a happy and healthy 2016!
